My family lives in Fletcher, NC, just a 30-minute drive from Pisgah. We relocated from Florida in 2006 and have cherished the move ever since. Over the years, I've grown to appreciate the beauty of Asheville and the close-knit SDA community that thrives here. My mom works as a caretaker, my dad is in insurance, and my younger brother is an IT professional. Our household also includes two friendly pets—a cat and a dog.
One of my close friends, Kendra Pauls, who teaches seventh grade at APCS, recommended me for a position. Additionally, the principal is the parent of a good friend of mine.
I have three years of experience working as a teacher's aide, giving me countless opportunities for observation. Throughout college, I tutored several students, and in 2023, I graduated from Southern with a B.A. in Liberal Arts Education. After graduation, I taught fifth grade in Palau for a year. Growing up near Pisgah has deepened my love for the area.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities with family and friends. Recently, I've taken up running and also love reading, painting, and crocheting.
